One last post for 2010...

More fun in the snow! Konrad loves the snow this winter and luckily there is lots of it at Oma and Opa's house! We spent a week there for Christmas and will go back there 6 January for Opa's birthday. The kids got a sled for xmas (actually 2 sleds) and Konrad loves it! He and Liliana have really enjoyed riding it down the hill next to Oma and Opa's house...Lara prefers to climb on the Igloo that we built.

Below are a few last photos of 2010.

All the best for 2011!!

PS No Liliana in the photos...will have to wait for next year...

Let is Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

We are at Oma and Opa's house to celebrate Christmas and I have a few minutes to do a quick post! We arrived Wednesday night to streets full of snow. There must be at least a couple of feet of snow already. Yesterday we spent most of the day shoveling off the roofs of the garden sheds and the carport preparing for more snow today! I had Thomas take a few pictures of the snow that was piled up on the streets from people shoveling their sidewalks and drive ways. For now there is no parking on the street...

The kids are having a great time in the piles of snow and want to build a snow house today!

I will try to do one more post before the New Year. For now Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!!

Lara and Liliana Christmas 2009

This is a video of Lara and Liliana from Christmas Eve (in Germany they unwrap presents on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas Morning). The bouncy horses were presents from Oma and Opa!

Konrad working...

Konrad is fascinated by cable and computers, even though he has never really used a real computer, except during Skype chats with Grandma. He recently started setting up his workspace (machines) wherever convenient for him to get his work done ;). He always manages to find a place to plug in the cords as you can see from pictures and video below. I haven't figured out how to turn the video yet so you will have to turn your head sideways...The video is just a few second long so hopefully you won't get a neck cramp ; )

Tribute to Grandma...

This post is especially for my mom who is a librarian...

Konrad flying his plane

Who would of thought IKEA furniture was so versatile. Our IKEA table with a few chairs on top quickly became an airplane that Konrad piloted to Oma and Opa's house and to America to see Grandma.
